carm taglia stamped patio and brick fire pit
Jason and his team did a knockout job. They did a large stamped patio with a fire pit and gazebo for my home over 2 years ago. They were not the lowball estimate but they were much cheaper and way thicker slab of concrete than a larger company like Fortis. I think they were a great value for the buck. A few of my neighbors used other company’s and most are thin. Not leveled. Or cracked. Mine looks as good as it was the day they poured it. They seal it every other year.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I am beyond happy with the work that Muenster concrete did to transform my backyard. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and they turned my sad sunken paver brick patio into a useable dreamy outdoor oasis! I will recommend this company every chance I get!

Jason and his team replaced both our front walkway and the path leading to the back of our home. I can’t recommend Muenster highly enough for any concrete work. While the price came in slightly above a few other quotes, the difference was evident in the experience. Jason was personally present throughout the project, ensuring every detail met his high standards. There’s something reassuring about working with a locally owned business that takes pride in its work and values its customers. His entire team carried themselves with professionalism from start to finish, and their dedication showed in every aspect of the job. I will be recommending Muenster to friends and family.

I hired Muenster Concrete to pour a slab for a shed I was building and remove and replace my front sidewalk. From the beginning, Jason was easy to work with. His communication is fantastic and his pricing is fair. They left the area clean and we are very happy with how it all turned out. I look forward to having him back when it’s time to do the driveway. You won’t be disappointed working with Jason and his crew!

We were replacing our patio pavers with stamped concrete and added a fire pit. We are very glad we went with Muenster Concrete. Jason and the team were very professional, worked with us on design, and created a beautiful finish. They rebuilt our retaining wall and created cantilever edges to give it a more defined look. If you are looking for concrete work, I would highly recommend going with Jason and the Muenster team.

I had a new front approach, porch, driveway ribbons, a service wall to the back yard and a new patio installed and Muenster Concrete did an excellent job throughout the entire process from Quote to completion! Jason’s attention to detail is incredible, he and his crew treated our home as if it was his own. No trash laying around from the crew. The crew themselves were very courteous and respectful. At the end of every work day, they cleaned up all of the plywood protecting the grass and neatly organized the work area for the next step. Really an impressive operation! I will absolutely use them angain and recommend Muenster Concrete to anyone in need, this was truly an exceptional experience!

Frequently Asked Questions About Residential Concrete

What residential concrete services does Muenster Concrete provide?
We install, remove, replace, and repair concrete driveways, patios, walkways, sidewalks, steps, stoops, entryways, garage floors, foundations, footings, retaining walls, shed slabs, equipment pads, and other residential projects. We also offer stamped, decorative, colored, brushed, and mixed concrete finishes for different homes, uses, and design preferences.
Does my existing concrete need repair or complete replacement?
The right option depends on the amount of damage, surrounding slab condition, settlement, drainage, base stability, and how the concrete is used. Localized damage may be repairable, while widespread deterioration, significant movement, or recurring problems may require partial or complete replacement. We evaluate the area before recommending the appropriate scope.
Can you replace asphalt, pavers, or an old deck with concrete?
Yes. Many residential projects begin with removing an aging asphalt driveway, sunken paver patio, wooden deck, damaged walkway, or other existing surface. We review removal requirements, access, elevations, drainage, base preparation, and the proposed layout before developing the project scope and estimate.
What affects the price of residential concrete, and how should I compare estimates?
Cost depends on size, demolition, access, excavation, base preparation, reinforcement, thickness, drainage, finish, color, pattern, and complexity. When comparing estimates, review the complete scope rather than price alone. Confirm what each contractor includes for removal, preparation, reinforcement, concrete installation, finishing, joints, cleanup, and return-to-use expectations.
How long does a residential concrete project take, and when can I use it?
The construction schedule depends on project size, demolition, site access, preparation, inspections, weather, and the selected finish. Return-to-use timing is separate from installation time and depends on the surface and intended load. We explain the anticipated work schedule, curing requirements, and use restrictions before installation begins.
Which concrete finish is best for my home?
The right finish depends on the project location, how the surface will be used, your home’s style, desired level of customization, maintenance expectations, and budget. Brushed concrete provides a clean traditional appearance, while stamped, colored, decorative, and mixed finishes offer more opportunities to personalize the completed project.
Will my new residential concrete crack?
Concrete naturally experiences some movement over time, especially in Midwest climates with freeze-thaw cycles and seasonal changes. Proper preparation, reinforcement, joint placement, and techniques such as control joints or saw cut joints help manage movement and minimize the appearance and severity of cracking while supporting long-term performance.
